By installing, accessing, or using the VidBar Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.
VidBar is a Chrome browser extension that provides enhanced video playback controls, including speed adjustment, volume control, color filters, bookmarks, notes, and other features for HTML5 video elements on websites. The Extension operates entirely within your browser and processes video content locally.
Free Tier: VidBar offers 30+ features at no cost, with no account registration required. The Free Tier is available indefinitely and will not be retroactively restricted.
Pro Tier: Additional features are available through a one-time purchase of $9.99 (USD), exclusive of applicable taxes. Pro is not a subscription — there is no auto-renewal. Upon purchase you receive a license key that activates Pro on one device. The license includes all Pro features available at the time of purchase and future feature additions while VidBar is actively maintained.
No Auto-Renewal: VidBar Pro is a one-time charge. You will never be billed again after your initial purchase. If pricing changes in the future, existing license holders are unaffected.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
Pro License: A purchased Pro license activates on one device at a time. To transfer your license to a new device, use the "Transfer to another device" option in the VidBar popup or contact support. The license is non-transferable to other accounts.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. By purchasing a Pro license, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, tax collection (including VAT), and payment processing.
Your VidBar Pro purchase is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked. There is no subscription to cancel; this is a one-time charge. To request a refund, email glitch@tamasvi.com with your order number. See our Refund Policy for full details.

The Extension interacts with third-party websites and services (e.g., YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any changes those platforms make that may affect the Extension's functionality.
The Extension may optionally integrate with supported third-party services. Use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The Extension, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of VidBar and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The "VidBar" name and logo are trademarks of VidBar.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidBar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Extension.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension will immediately cease. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Extension.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
